ADOLESCENT SERVICES
An intensive short-term hospital stay focuses on crisis stabilization, identification of problem and assessment of treatment needs including alcohol and drug use evaluation and detoxification. Our goal is to provide adolescents with a positive experience with adults and care providers in a safe setting.
ADULT PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
Acute Treatment and Mood Disorders
Skyline's Madison Campus provides a secure inpatient environment for adults who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, extreme mood swings, distorted perceptions of reality or other life-threatening behaviors. Treatment includes focusing on crisis stabilization and learning how to manage medications effectively.
H.O.P.E. Center: Healthy Options for Personal Empowerment
Skyline's Madison Campus HOPE Center offers specialized inpatient services for the unique needs of consumers challenged with chronic mental illness. Intervention targets those who have been unsuccessful in the community and continue to experience psychiatric crises on a daily basis. Treatment includes an increased length of stay, which enables increased inter-agency collaboration in terms of housing, community supports and outpatient follow-up.
Partial Hospitalization
A weekday program designed as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization, the Partial Hospitalization allows for a highly structured program of therapy and support services for adults experiencing serious mental health challenges.
Co-Occuring (this replaces Dual Diagnosis)
Skyline's Madison Campus has the expertise to treat individuals who are challenged with both addictions and mental illness. Our inpatient dual unit incorporates a 12-step approach to recovery into compassionate and comprehensive care. Detox services are also available on this unit.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our outpatient treatment for addictions in the afternoons or evenings four times a week helps minimize disruption of work or school schedules. In addition to regulated group therapy, clients learn skills that make it possible to lead productive lives free of mood-altering chemicals and behaviors. The IOP program meets 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.
Senior Life Center
Skyline's Madison Campus offers older adults crisis stabilization, diagnosis and treatment of serious psychiatric disorders, with a focus of dementia and memory disorders in a secure inpatient environment.
OPTIONS
A comprehensive community service designed to help you by providing 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, mental health, chemical dependency, crisis intervention, assessement, information and referral assistance. OPTIONS provides immediate response to telephone inquiries, suggestions for appropriate action and information about community mental health resources.
24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week
The OPTIONS team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staffed by masters level mental health counselors and psychiatric registered nurses, the OPTIONS program offers:
- Confidential assessments and consultations for emotional problems
- Referrals to outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization or inpatient care based on each individual’s treatment needs
- Support for families of those suffering from mental illness
- Information about mental health concerns and community services
